Title: Sr. Android Developer
Location: Fremont，CA
We are currently looking for Sr. Android Developer to join our engineering team. You will possess a solid understanding of Android, Java, OOP, multi-threading and design patterns and will have experience developing applications targeted for the Android Marketplace.
We offer you the opportunity to directly impact the home screen design of next-generation Android-based global smart phones and tablets while working with a talented team of motivated and energetic engineers responsible for user experience software. This position will be 75% hands-on coding and 25% mentoring and reviewing the code of junior to mid-level Android Engineers. This is not a pure management role. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Product Development.

Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
- 3+ year of Android programming experience, with deep knowledge and understanding of Android SDK
- 5+ years of Java development experience (ideally with exposure to J2ME)
- Eclipse Helios
- Self-motivated, goal oriented, strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- UI Design in regards to Widget Implementation a HUGE plus
Plus
- Prior experience with communication protocols, graphics, location-based services and/or iOS development

Key Responsibilities:
- You will be senior developer on Android OS based mobile platforms
- Taking a lead role in estimating the workload and driving architectural discussions
Pre-requisite Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Strong Development experience with Android OS or alternatively iPhone, Symbian, Embedded Linux or J2ME
- Experience developing mobile applications and UI
- Experience of Agile and iterative development processes
- Java programming experience
- C/C++ development experience
- Proven track record of delivering quality software to deadline
Desirable Functional / Technical Skills:
- Experience in porting/optimization of Applications to mobile platforms and environments
- Cross platform development experience on other mobile/embedded runtime platforms including iPhone, Symbian, Linux, Windows Mobile, J2ME
- Experience in other Programming/Scripting language e.g. Python, JavaScript
- Team Leadership experience
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related subject
